Central Lake Township Voter Information

Non-registered voters who are new to the township can register at the township offices,  at any Michigan Secretary of State office or by mail with the County Clerk.

To register to vote in Central Lake Township, you must be a resident of the township, a citizen of the United States, at least 18 years of age by election day, and you cannot be serving a sentence in jail or prison.

To vote in any given election, you must register to vote at least 30 days before the election.

Requests for absentee ballots are required to be in writing and submitted to the Township Clerk. Requests to have an absentee voter ballot mailed to you must be received by the clerk no later than 2:00 P.M. the Saturday before the election.

The regularTownship Board Meeting is held on the third Wednesday of every month at 7:00 P.M. in the Governmental Center at 1622 North M-88.
